
Colin Troy is an experienced educationalist with over thirty years of teaching experience, eight of which were as Head of two special schools. He is now a consultant, trainer and lecturer specialising in pupils and students of all ages with special educational needs and learning support. Colin has also run workshops for students to develop self esteem, behaviour management and other PSHE issues..
He has worked with the UN Development Fund promoting awareness on special needs issues and was a keynote speaker at the International Schools Conference in Prague. He is an assessor for the Inclusion Quality Mark and acts as an advisor to Local Authorities on inclusion issues.
As a trainer Colin's energetic and experiential style enables delegates to understand how people with special needs experience the world around them and gives practical help to enable them to develop effective intervention and management techniques. Delegates have found Colin's style inspirational but essentially practical.
